Blockhouse Yoga Moments #4 – Reclining Hand to Big Toe

Welcome to the Blockhouse Yoga Moments Series! This series is designed to help you enhance your yoga practice wherever you may be. We’ll be offering five-minute yoga breaks you can take when your schedule permits.

For this one, all you need is a strap and your mat. This is an excellent pose for tight hamstrings, stretching hips, thighs, groin, calves and a good prep for forward bends. Helps to strengthen knees and relieves backache and sciatic nerve pain. This pose can also stimulate the prostate, alleviate menstrual discomfort and improve digestion. Blockhouse Yoga is located in Blockhouse, N.S. at the four-way stop off Highway 103.
